Workflow: Remote Presence

The feeling of presence when working remotely; simulating presence using screen sharing

I’m looking for ways to make people on a team feel like they’re sitting next to each other. Of course, the best way to do that is through camera, but maybe also microphone - or maybe not, since background noise can be distracting. The tools I’ve researched and found are the following:

• Skype Group Video Chat is now free, as of april 2014. You can talk with up to 10 people, and everybody is familiar with it.

  The problem is when you don’t have a webcam or microphone - you can’t login at all.
