Anki

Why Anki and how?

Simply because you can do EVERYTHING for free. A little bit ugly, but EVERYTHING.

Basic principles

You should answer after the card by pressing Again when you failed to recall the answer, Good when you successfully recall the answer, and Easy when you recall the answer in an instant

On how to create cards

Most spaced-repetition beginners vastly underestimate the importance of carefully worded questions

  1. Questions should not ask for yes or no answers
  2. Questions must be context-free; or the topic or context should be stated near the beginning of the question
